Fast hard drives are naturally more expensive than slow ones. If you can afford it, a fast hard drive will make your computer a more efficient machine.

How Heat Sinks Keep Your Computer Cool

Computer components generate a lot of heat when you use your PC and especially if you are running demanding applications such as games and multimedia software. To aid your hardworking components in cooling down, your computer comes installed with a number of fans that guide the air around your PC’s internal units. There is at least one fan that sucks in cool air inside your computer case and another fan that pushes out the hot air inside.

For those who are always overclocking their CPUs, constant monitoring of internal PC temperature is very helpful. There are some cases that have sensors that read the temperature of certain parts of the computer, particularly the processor and its heat sink. These sensors may instruct the fans to turn on or off depending on the need. They may also be used to detect when a computer reaches an alarming temperature. Six Main Components of a Computer Water Cooling System
